Camino Inca 4N - 3D

The Inca Trail is a spectacular experience to be performed at least once in life. It has a distance of 42 km from km 82 to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

Pick up passengers from their hotels on a private bus and then crossing the towns of Chinchero , Urubamba and Ollantaytambo in " Sacred Valley " in the direction of the km 82 ( Piscakucho ), then we start our trek , stop at Miskay , restart the walk to our first camp in Wayllabamba for lunch, in the afternoon pass through the first open and camp in our camp Llulluchapampa.

After breakfast trek to the highest point of the Inca Trail, where we can observe different microclimates. the first part of our journey in strenuous climb leads from the village Inka Wayllabamba to step Warmihuañusca (the passing of the dead woman ) at 4200 m, prior to this point we will have a coffee break , which is the highest part of the tour 4 to 5 hrs . From which point a panoramic view of singular beauty of two valley seen . After 1 hour 30 minutes downhill reach Pacaymayu for lunch and have the afternoon off.

After breakfast walk along a stretch of remarkably well preserved Inca trail, passing ancient archaeological sites covered by dense tropical forest, then visit Runkuraquay and Sayacmarka. A Sayacmarcka 15 minutes we stop for lunch and reenergize. After lunch we continue the walk to Phuyupatamarka (city above clouds) with spectacular views of several snow-capped peaks of the Andes, where we descend in continuous descent 2 hrs. We wiñaywayna arrive at camp, probably the most spectacular archaeological complex travel by effected by lush forest covered with flowers and clouds enigmatic history. At this point the service available warm water showers which is accessed after making a payment of S / 5.00 nuevos soles (US. 1.50). Then at 17.30 hrs. We serve tea. In the evening we enjoy an excellent dinner buffet service and as is tradition the group conduct a collection to give the tip to the group of porters who attended them on this hike.

After breakfast at 4:30 a.m approximately we begin the walk towards the Puerta del Sol ( Inti Punku ) , where we can appreciate the majestic and imposing citadel of Machu Picchu . Arriving at Machu Picchu, guided tour and free time, then descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can visit the thermal baths, finally we boarded the train to return to Cusco.
