AREQUIPA

Arequipa, the second largest city in Peru , is 1024 km (640 miles) south of Lima. It was founded in 1540 and is one of the most attractive cities. Full of colonial churches and mansions, including the monastery of Santa Catalina, a restored convent established in 1579 and now open to the public . Tamien Arequipa is known as the White City because much of it based on ashier .

On arrival reception and assistance at the airport . Transfer to hotelseleccionado . In the afternoon , three hours excursion through the city of Arequipa, including Santa Catalina Convent , the Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit church of the Company , the Church of San Francisco , the San Lazaro's district , Selva Alegre. at the end and for a magnificent view of the city and the typical districts of Cayma and Yanahuara . Return to hotel .

Early in the morning , after breakfast , start of a wonderful journey to the Colca Canyon , visiting on the way Pampas Cañahuas , the Mirador de los Andes , the crater of Chucura and Mirador de Chivay, where beautiful pre - Inca terraces . Refreshment. Arrival to Chivay at 13:00 pm approx. Transfer to the lodge . Afternoon free time to visit thermal and medical baths in the region.

Breakfast very early in the morning to start your tour to Cruz del Condor natural lookout from where the magnitude of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular seen condor in flight. Back to Chivay , visit the Mirador de Chinina , where are the famous Hanging Tombs and the Siphon Bridge linking the towns of Yanque
Coporaque. At the town of Yanque , we visit its beautiful church and its stone streets among other attractions . We stop at the viewpoints of Choquetipo , Artahuilque Maca and people to see again the Colca Valley . After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Arequipa , arriving at 18:00 hrs. approx
